Worship Services
We welcome you to check out the following worship opportunities.
- 3rd Wednesdays 7:45pm - Mennonite Service - Fireside - sponsored by the
Lena Mennonite Community.
- Thursdays 7pm - St Marks Lutheran WELS Service - Fireside
- Thursdays 7pm - Intervarsity Christian Fellowship - Auditorium -
Student-led worship for all denominations.
- 3rd Sundays of month 10:00am - Eckankar - Fireside
- Sundays 11am - Fox Valley Quakers - Fireside
- Sundays 6pm - Student Worship - Auditorium - Formerly known as “the
Protestant service” and “G.O.T. God?” this worship service is finding its
way back to Sunday evenings at 6:00pm during the fall semester 2008. Sunday
Evening Student Worship meets in the Fireside Lounge at the EC. Comfy sofas
and chairs and a cozy fireplace help to create a welcoming, informal
atmosphere for evening worship. All students are invited to this worship
service. It doesn’t matter what your denomination or your background.
Worship lasts about 45 minutes. It includes prayer, scripture readings and a
short message. Holy Communion is offered once a month—on the first Sunday of
the month. Absolutely everyone is welcomed to take part in Holy Communion.
We practice an open table at the EC. Music for worship is provided and led
by our faithful musician Jason Pues. We use a variety of songs from
traditional “moldy oldy” hymns to more contemporary Christian songs. The
last Sunday of the semester before December finals, we offer a candlelight
service as our community Christmas celebration.

Catholic Diocese
- Simple Supper - for those who come to worship, each week there will be a
supper offered at 5:00pm. It will be a simple meal like spaghetti or hotdogs
or whatever Pastor Beth needs to clean out of her freezer.
